Diego Clavijo (Clavixus) is a Musician | Music Producer | Music Engineer
from La Paz, Bolivia. He started his journey in music playing bass, first studying Bass at the Plurinational Conservatory of Music in Bolivia, an almost parallel time studying Sound Engineering in the UNITEP University. Getting a broad knowledge not only in music, but also in the technology and technical side of Music Production. Finally After a couple of years of experience in the field of production he decided to apply to the prestigious Frost School of Music to the Masters in "Media Scoring And Production" where he got accepted with a full Scholarship and a Teaching Assistant position, where he expanded his knowledge in music production, media writing, music business, and more.
Clavixus, has worked in a wide range of projects, from Music Production working on whole productions, to engineering(Recording/Mixing/Mastering) for other producers, to session work on Guitar and Bass, and lately to composing music for media. His main strength is the patience and the versatility to adapt to any kind of musical situation.
He also works on live shows as a Musical Director, and session Guitar/Bass Player, working from the arrangements to the backing tracks and live sound, putting together all of his skills to create unforgettable shows. He had the opportunity to perform or work with renowned Bolivian artists, such as "Octavia", "Los Kjarkas", "Bonny Lovy", also being featured in the "International Bolivian FestiJazz" as the youngest musician the year he played.
He truly believes that music is a craft that requieres hard work, dedication and commitment, that either live or in the studio, makes it trascendental and meaningful.
